Candlestick: Red Jester – King of the Castle

This candlestick holder is a bold hybrid of a watermelon, some belly buttons, tulips and Joseph’s Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. Twin turrets soar above the fantastical melange in a riot of colour. Dimensions: 29 x 10 cm/900gm
 
Each piece is hand built using stoneware clay. The surface is hand-painted with underglazes and slips. Given the inherent hand-made quality of my work, each piece varies a little in shape and size. This makes them unique and special - just like You!! It is then glazed with a high gloss, food safe, lead free, transparent glaze. It is fired in an electric kiln to 2165C. Stoneware retains heat, it's durable and chip resistant with reasonable care. Food, microwave and dishwasher safe. ENJOY, you deserve it!!
